Pioneering

This series of photographs shows the construction of an hour glass tower using traditional pioneering techniques. No nails, bolts or screws- just lot of rope lashings. The name of the tower comes from the shape. This tower was built during a weekend camp at Dicky Dunford's farm in Herriard. Dicky was a great benefactor of Scouts and Guides allowing camps on his farm over many years.
